Johnny Blaze: First Appearance on S.H.I.E.L.D.

 

After all of the references and hints in the before and after episodes on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4.

We finally learn who is the Devil that gave Robbie Reyes his powers…be careful of spoilers if you haven’t seen the episode…Okay, it’s Johnny Blaze, the Ghost Rider himself resurrected Robbie Reyes with power to make Robbie as the New Ghost Rider.

It’s been awhile since we last seen Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider in his Hell Cycle, even though Nicolas Cage didn’t reprise his role from the first two Ghost Rider movies. It is unknown who is this actor playing Johnny Blaze. But I’m glad to see him again.

It did occur to me that Johnny had small part in this episode, J.B. arrived at the scene on his Hell Cycle, he pulled Robbie’s brother out of the car and Blaze was able to transfer some of his power into Robbie Reyes to become Ghost Rider.

Even though Robbie had mentioned he made a deal with the Devil aka Johnny Blaze, the Ghost Rider, but my own perspective is that I don’t see him as a devil. I see J.B. as an ally or mentor to Robbie.

But I’m expecting to see more about Johnny Blaze, his short or big part in the following episodes, he could know about this mystic book called the Darkhold.

It is possible that Mephisto and Johnny Blaze will have a big or small part in the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 4
