Sonic Frontiers (Review)

Hello, my name is Charles and I’m here to review Sonic Frontiers for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X & Series S. This game is a celebration of the franchise’s 30th anniversary and it also utilizes an open-world, free-roam feature usually experienced in The Legend of Zelda game series.

In this game, The story begins when Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles “Tails” Prower, Knuckles the Echidna and Amy Rose are sucked through a wormhole and Sonic is now lost on the mysterious Starfall Islands (5 in total). Separated from Amy, Knuckles and Tails, a ghostly entity guides Sonic as he seeks to collect all 7 Chaos Emeralds, destroy all the Titan robots and find/rescue all his missing friends.

In this game, Sonic battles many robotic enemies including colossal-sized robots called Titans (5 in total).Sonic also encounters a mysterious, digital entity known as Sage who was later revealed to be created by Dr. Eggman to be the ultimate A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) program as well as his daughter and heiress to the Eggman Empire.

In conclusion, I believe that this particular game has officially taken the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise straight to the next “Chaos-Control” level and one of “Super-Sonic” proportions I might add.
