Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love(Review)

Hello, my name is Charles and I’m here to review Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love for the PlayStation 2 & Nintendo Wii consoles.

This game takes place in an alternate universe’s New York City in the late 1920s while followings the adventures of the New York Combat Revue (STAR Division).

The protagonists in this game consist of Captain Shinjiro Taiga (main hero/samurai) (weapons: twin Katanas) (RoboMech armed with twin Katanas), Gemini Sunrise (heroine/Texas samurai) (weapon: Katana) (RoboMech armed with a Katana & a Colt Single Action Army Revolver), Cheiron Archer (Heroine/Biker/Lawyer) (RoboMech armed with a steel whip called Verdict Chain), Diana Caprice (heroine/Medic/Spiritualist) (RoboMech armed with an artificially intelligent robotic Blue Bird), Rosita Aries (heroine/Mexican bounty hunter/singer/dancer) (weapons: Gold six-shooter & Silver six-shooter) (RoboMech armed with twin six-shooters) and Subaru Kujo (heroine/fighter/pianist/actress) (weapon: fan) (RoboMech armed with twin steel fans).

The antagonist in this game consist of Oda Nobunaga (main villain/Japanese Demon Warlord), Lieutenant Ranmaru (villain/varlet) (weapon: Scythe), General Kokuryuhime (villain/Black Dragon Princess/master swordsman) (Weapon: giant black sword), Yumedono (villain/demon priestess) (weapons: demonic insects & poisons), Dokuro-bou (villain/amateur tactician/brutish thug) (weapon: a steel club called a Kanabo) and Tsugarubi (villain/demon priest) (weapon: demon sorcery).

In conclusion, I found this game a truly fun & wonderful clash between the ancient past and the modern future, both alternately and/or historically speaking.

Disney Magical World 2 (Review)

Hello, my name is Charles & I’m here to review the Nintendo 3DS game Disney Magical World 2.

This game is the 2016 sequel to the 2014 3DS game Disney Magical World with even more Disney worlds and characters to encounter, assist and spend time with.

The game takes place in a magical town called Castleton where you not only manage a cafe near favorable Disney characters such as Mickey, but you also can travel to six Disney worlds.

The six disney worlds are comprised of Disney’s Frozen, The Little Mermaid, Lilo & Stitch, Alice in Wonderland, Snow White & the Seven Dwarfs and Winnie the Pooh.

Throughout this game, you discover ghostly beings of unknown origins are invading Castleton as well as all six Disney worlds and you must use special magic wands to use Disney magic to deal with them.

In each of the six Disney worlds you can attend Anna & Elsa’s Snowman Festival, have adventures as a mermaid/merman under the sea with Ariel, mine for gems with the Seven Dwarfs, surf and hula with Lilo & Stitch, help tackle trouble in Wonderland and have fun both farming and hanging out with Winnie the Pooh & friends.

In conclusion, I find this game truly Enchanting and am certain of it to be one of the embodiments of disney’s greatest magics.

The episode itself is amazing. It takes place in a 1920’s version of Central city and modern day 2017 central city. It is a great balance of action and song. Darren Criss plays Music Meister, a guy who at first comes off as an odd ball and bit of an antagonist. He puts Barry Allen aka the Flash into a coma like state and he wakes up in a musical. Melissa Benoist sings “Moon River” from Breakfast at Tiffany’s.  The Next song that pops up is “Put a little love in your heart” performed by Carlos Valdes, John Barrowman, Jeremy Jordan, Darren Criss and more. I might have missed them pull off one the best scenes I have seen so far in The Flash and Supergirl. It left me feeling a lot of joy. I would love to see more Episodes like this. The fourth song that appears is “More I Cannot Wish You” sung by Jesse L. Martin, Victor Garber, and John Barrowmen. By the end of the episode it was revealed that Music Meister only did what he did to fix 2 broken hearts. So, to me he is the guy that has a song in his heart. The Music Meister pops up where and whenever he is needed to help others like Barry and Kara as they both had hearts that were hurting. The last song was called “Running home to you” sung by Grant Gustin. All in all the cast looked like they had lot of fun, and I can’t wait see what they do next!

Moon River

Put a little love in your heart.

I’m your Super friend

More I Cannot Wish You

Running home to you
