One Piece(Anime Series)(Review)

Hello, my name is Charles and I’m here to review the anime series One Piece. The series takes place following the World Government’s public execution of the Pirate King Gol D. Roger aka Gold Roger, but the Pirate King’s final words in turn usher in the Great Pirate Age (you want my treasured legacy then you can have it for everything that is mine has been gathered together in one place).

 

Most of the characters possess supernatural abilities which they acquired from eating Devil Fruits. The Devil Fruits in this series into 3 different categories consisting of Paramecia (supernatural abilities-mystical), Logia (supernatural abilities-physical & mystical) and Zoan (supernatural abilities thereby resulting in a physical transformation from Human to Animal).

 

The protagonists in this series are the StrawHat Pirates which are comprised of Monkey D. Luffy (the Straw Hat’s Captain whose dream is to be the next Pirate King)(Paramecia: Gum-Gum Fruit), Roronoa Zoro (a Pirate Hunter turned Pirate whose dream is to be the greatest swordsman in the world)(Zoro specializes in the 3 sword style which is where he wields three katanas in battle), Nami (the Straw Hat’s Navigator whose dream is to chart the entire world), Usopp (the Straw Hat’s Sharpshooter whose dream is to be a gallant warrior of the sea, just like his father Yasopp)(Usopp wields a giant slingshot in battle), Vinsmoke Sanji (the Straw Hat’s Cook (Sanji specializes in a kick-based fighting style), Tony Tony Chopper (the Straw Hat’s Doctor as well as a blue-nosed reindeer)(Zoan: Human-Human Fruit),Nico Robin (the Straw Hat’s Archaeologist)(Paramecia: Flower-Flower Fruit), Franky (the Straw Hat’s Shipwright)(Franky is a Cola-powered Cyborg with superhuman strength) and Humming Brook/Dead Bones Brook/Soul King Brook (the Straw Hat’s Musician)( Brook wields a Shikomizue/japanese cane sword in battle)(Paramecia: Revive-Revive Fruit).

 

In conclusion, I found this series to be equal in popularity to both Naruto and Dragon Ball in series length as well as series storyline.

Inuyasha the Movie 3: Swords of the Honorable Ruler(Review)

Hello, my name is Charles and I’m here to review Inuyasha the Movie 3: Swords of the Honorable Ruler. The events of this movie takes place between episodes 136 & 137 of the Inuyasha TV series.

 

In this movie, we learn the complete details concerning the death of Inuyasha and Sesshomaru’s father Inu no Taisho as well as the fame and history behind Inu no Taisho’s swords Tessaiga and Tenseiga as well as So’unga which is exclusive to this movie alone.together they are known as the Swords of Supreme Conquest.

 

The three swords in question are as followed: Tessaiga-Sword of Man(This blade can fell a 100 enemies in one stroke), Tenseiga-Sword of Heaven (While this blade cannot harm the living, it can however kill the living dead, save a 100 lives in one sweep and heal/resurrect someone who has been killed most recently via a one-time deal) and last but not least, So’unga-Sword of Hell (This blade can open the gates of hell and summon a 100 dead souls as well as convert thosed felled by this blade into soulless walking dead) Also, unlike Tessaiga & Tenseiga, So’unga is in fact possessed by the spirit of an ancient, evil demon thereby serving as the movie’s antagonist.

 

The cast consists as followed: Inuyasha (Male)(Half-Demon)(Protagonist), Kagome (Female)(Human Priestess in Training), Shippo (Male)(Fox Demon), Sango (Female)(Demon Slayer), Miroku (Male)(Monk), Kirara (Female)(Two-Tailed Cat Demon), Totosai (Male)(Demon Swordsmith), Sesshomaru (Male)(Demon)(Inuyasha’s Older Brother) and Jaken (Male)(Demon Priest).

 

In conclusion, I found this movie to have key emotional scenes such as Inuyasha finally meeting his father Inu no Taisho for the first and last time. Also, this movie teaches us that when we humans have someone we must protect, does our strength & will grow exponentially.

Final Fantasy X(Review)

Hello, my name is Charles & I’m here to review the PlayStation 2 game Final Fantasy X.

 

This game takes place on an alternate version of Earth called Spira which comprises of grand cities, ancient temples & sacred land masses. Here is some examples of some areas in the game you will encounter in the game which consists of Besaid island, the Stadium in Luca, Bevelle temple, Mt. Gagazet & the city of Zanarkand.

 

The protagonists in this game consist of Tidus (BlitzBall player/Guardian)(weapon: LongSwords), Yuna (Summoner/White mage)(weapon: Staffs), Auron (Warrior Monk/Guardian)(weapon: Katanas), Wakka (BlitzBall player/Guardian)(weapon: BlitzBalls), Lulu (Guardian/Black mage)(weapon: Dolls), Kimahri Ronso (Guardian)(weapon: Spears) & Rikku (Guardian)(weapon: Gauntlets).

 

The antagonists in this game consist of Sin (Monster/Incarnation of Darkness), Seymour Guado (Villain/Evil Mastermind), Jecht (Tidus’ father/BlitzBall player/Guardian) & Yu Yevon (Demonic Spirit/Embodiment of Evil).

 

In conclusion, this game teaches those who play it to play out their own life stories in real life situations.

Hello, my name is Charles & I’m here to review the PlayStation 1 game Final Fantasy VIII.

 

This game takes place on a parallel version of Earth orbited by 1 moon & 2 suns as well as comprised of 3 continents which consist of Balamb, Galbadia, and Esthar. A few examples of some major locations featured in this game are consisted of Balamb Garden (Military Academy/main HQ), Deling City (Galbadia’s capital), D-District Prison (Galbadia’s maximum security prison) & the Lunar Base (a Estharian space station).

 

The protagonists in this game consist of Squall Leonhart (main hero/taciturn/lone wolf)(weapon: GunBlade-gun shaped sword)(design: Revolver), Rinoa Heartilly (resistance leader/potential sorceress)(weapon: Blaster Edge-bladed projectile), Quistis Trepe (Balamb Garden’s instructor/blue mage)(weapon: Chain Whip), Zell Dincht (Martial Artist)(weapon: Gauntlets), Selphie Tilmitt (weapon: Nunchaku), Irvine Kinneas (an elite sharpshooter/cowboy/ladies man)(weapon: Rifle) & Laguna Loire (Squall’s father/ex-Galbadian soldier)(weapon: Machine Gun).

 

The antagonists in this game consist of Ultimecia (main villainess/futuristic sorceress)(weapons: Magic/Manipulator of Time) & Seifer Almasy (Squall’s rival/disciplinarian)(weapon: GunBlade-gun shaped sword)(design: Hyperion).

 

In conclusion, I found this game to be quite action packed yet emotionally heartwarming.

Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles(Review)

Hello, my name is Charles and I’m here to review Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles for the Nintendo Wii.

 

In this game you play as both Naruto Uzumaki (a Wind Style user/9-tails Jinchuriki) as well as Sasuke Uchiha (a Lightning Style/Fire Style user) as they try to save the ninja world from Kuroma Tatsushiro (one of the Dragon God clan’s sole survivors), the Akatsuki consisting of Itachi Uchiha-a Fire Style user/Sasuke’s older brother, Kisame Hoshigaki-a Water Style user/Ninja Swordsman of the mist (Broadsword Sharkskin AKA Samehada), Deidara-an Explosion Style user/artist, Tobi-a sarcastic goofball, the 5 Genryu (Elemental Dragons consisting of Earth-Fire-Wind-Water-Lightning) and the Dai-Genryu (Dragon of Light).

 

Naruto is assisted by his allies consisting of Sakura Haruno (a Medical ninja), Kakashi Hatake (the Copy Ninja-Mastered 1000 Jutsu), Yamato (the Wood Style user), Shikamaru Nara (a shadow user/tactician-200 IQ), Rock Lee (the Leaf Village’s Handsome Devil/Taijutsu specialist) and Neji Hyuga (a Gentle Fist user/ninja prodigy).

 

Sasuke is assisted by his allies consisting of Suigetsu Hozuki (a Water Style user/Ninja Swordsman of the mist)(the Severing Sword AKA Executioner’s Blade), Karin (a Medical ninja) and Jugo (a Sage Jutsu user).

 

In conclusion, I found this game to be more deeply emotional and thoroughly exciting than any Naruto game in existence.

 

Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love(Review)

Hello, my name is Charles and I’m here to review Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love for the PlayStation 2 & Nintendo Wii consoles.

 

This game takes place in an alternate universe’s New York City in the late 1920s while followings the adventures of the New York Combat Revue (STAR Division).

 

The protagonists in this game consist of Captain Shinjiro Taiga (main hero/samurai) (weapons: twin Katanas) (RoboMech armed with twin Katanas), Gemini Sunrise (heroine/Texas samurai) (weapon: Katana) (RoboMech armed with a Katana & a Colt Single Action Army Revolver), Cheiron Archer (Heroine/Biker/Lawyer) (RoboMech armed with a steel whip called Verdict Chain), Diana Caprice (heroine/Medic/Spiritualist) (RoboMech armed with an artificially intelligent robotic Blue Bird), Rosita Aries (heroine/Mexican bounty hunter/singer/dancer) (weapons: Gold six-shooter & Silver six-shooter) (RoboMech armed with twin six-shooters) and Subaru Kujo (heroine/fighter/pianist/actress) (weapon: fan) (RoboMech armed with twin steel fans).

 

The antagonist in this game consist of Oda Nobunaga (main villain/Japanese Demon Warlord), Lieutenant Ranmaru (villain/varlet) (weapon: Scythe), General Kokuryuhime (villain/Black Dragon Princess/master swordsman) (Weapon: giant black sword), Yumedono (villain/demon priestess) (weapons: demonic insects & poisons), Dokuro-bou (villain/amateur tactician/brutish thug) (weapon: a steel club called a Kanabo) and Tsugarubi (villain/demon priest) (weapon: demon sorcery).

 

In conclusion, I found this game a truly fun & wonderful clash between the ancient past and the modern future, both alternately and/or historically speaking.

Pokemon the Movie: I Choose You! (Preview)

Hello, my name is Charles and I’m here to preview the upcoming movie Pokemon: I Choose You!

 

This is the 20th Pokemon movie as well as a remake of the 1st episode of the original Pokemon series and  of the same name no less.

 

This movie features returning characters consisting of Ash Ketchum (the main character) and his partner pokemon Pikachu, Samuel Oak (a pokemon professor), Nurse Joy (a pokemon doctor) and the recurring villains of the entire series Jessie, James & their talking pokemon companion Meowth.

 

This movie also features new characters exclusive to this movie consisting of Sorrel (Ash’s new travel companion & a pokemon professor in training) and his partner pokemon Lucario, Verity (Ash’s new travel companion) and her partner pokemon Piplup, Bonzi (a mysterious old man), Cross (an arrogant trainer & Ash’s Rival) and his two partner pokemon Incineroar & Lycanroc (midnight form) as well as the legendary pokemon consisting of Ho-Oh (the pokemon equivalent of a Phoenix) & Marshadow (a new legendary pokemon exclusive to this movie).

 

In conclusion, I believe that this movie is a celebration/anniversary towards the entire Pokemon game/TV series franchise and will have an US dubbed showing in US theatres for a limited time on Sunday, November 5 & Monday, November 6 this year.

 

Inuyasha: The Secret Of The Cursed Mask (Review)

This game’s protagonists consist of Michiru (human male) or Kaname (human female)(Universal Magic/Shikigami), Inuyasha (half-demon male/hanyō)(Giant Sword/Tessaiga), Kagome (human female)(Bow & Arrows), Shippo (male fox demon)(Fox Magic), Miroku (human male/monk)(Magic Talismans as well as his Wind Tunnel), Sango (human female/demon slayer)(Giant Boomerang/Hiraikotsu) and Sesshomaru (Inuyasha’s older brother and a full-fledged demon/yōkai)(Cursed Sword/Tokijin).

 

This game’s antagonists consist of Naraku (demon warlord/male)(Poison), Kagura (female demon/wind sorceress)(Wind-Controlling Fan) and Utsugi(Michiru/Kaname’s ancestor)(Universal Magic/Shikigami).

 

In conclusion, this game is a definite blast to the past and I hope that you enjoy or enjoyed this game as much as I did.

Digimon World: Next Order

Hello, my name is Charles and I’m here to talk about Digimon World: Next Order for the PlayStation 4 console. This game is an Open World RPG and is the 7th Digimon World game to be developed. The main hero and heroine of this game are Takuto and his partner digimon Agumon and Gabumon as well as Shiki and her partner digimon Biyomon and Palmon. Together with their friends Kouta and his partner digimon Guilmon, Himari and her partner digimon Salamon & Shoma and his partner digimon MetalEtemon and Titamon as well as their digimon allies JiJimon and Taomon and their human allies Mirei MikaGura and her partner digimon Angewomon and LadyDevimon & Rina Shinomiya and her partner Digimon UlForceVeeDramon, they must save the digital world from the Mega-Level digimon known as MachineDramon. In this game you must also raise your digimon by feeding it, training it and caring for it. In my opinion, playing Digimon World games are kind of like working on a farm (if you were raising Digital Monsters). In Conclusion, This game will offer imaginative discoveries as well as teach you how to be responsible caregivers and will be released in the us on January 31 2017.
