Hello, my name is Charles and I’m here to review the movie The PageMaster. This movie was first released on November 23, 1994.

 

This movie mostly takes place in an Illustrated World of Fictional and Non-Fictional stories which are divided into three areas. The three areas are The Horror Realm, The Land of Adventure and The World of Fantasy.

 

The Fictional and Non-Fictional stories and characters featured in this movie are the Kraken from 20,000 Leagues under the Sea,

the Demon Dog from Sherlock Holmes: The Hounds of Baskerville,

the Raven from Edgar Allan Poe’s The Raven,

Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde from Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde,

Ghosts from Miscellaneous Ghost Stories,

Captain Ahab and Moby Dick from Moby Dick,

Long John Silver and his Pirate Crew from Treasure Island,

the Little People from Gulliver’s Travels,

Mother Goose, Pan the Satyr, Fairies and a Dragon from Miscellaneous Fairy Tales,

the Magic Carpet from 1001 Arabian Nights,

the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland and the Beanstalk from Jack & the Beanstalk.

 

The cast of characters are Macaulay Culkin as Richard Tyler,

Christopher Lloyd as Mr. Dewey the Librarian/the PageMaster: Keeper of the Books and Guardian of the Written World,

Patrick Stewart as the voice of Adventure

Whoopi Goldberg as the voice of Fantasy and Frank Welker as the voice of Horror.

 

In conclusion, I found this movie to be truly Inspirational as well as educational in teaching us on how to broaden our imaginations/horizons in a big way.
