My Reaction to Spider-Man coming back to the MCU

I’m very happy that both Marvel Studios and Sony are reteaming up for the third MCU Spider-Man film and Tom Holland returning as Peter Parker/Spider-Man 

After watching Far From Home, the cliffhanger is a game changer…it’s gonna be a new chapter for Peter and the characters in the MCU and other films

Tom Holland did a great performance as Peter in Captain America: Civil War, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Tom’s talented. 

Myself and others are looking forward to Tom Holland’s upcoming films like The Current War, Spies in Disguise, Third MCU Spider-Man film, Onward, Chaos Walking and more

Spider-Man: Far From Home {Movie Review: Spoiler Warning}

This review will be a few spoilers:  if you haven’t seen the film, don’t read this review…if you saw the film, read the review.

 

I really enjoyed the film, I like that we get to see Peter moving forward with his life, even though that he misses Tony Stark/Iron Man and confessing his feelings to Michelle “MJ”. 

 

My favorite scenes that I did not expect is Quentin Beck aka Mysterio, who is a former employee of Stark Industries…it was revealed that Beck created B.A.R.F., a prototype system that was introduced in Captain America: Civil War and another character who encountered with Obadiah Stane from the first Iron Man, comes back, he works with Beck. the visual effects were stunning, the scene where Mysterio using the illusions to trap Peter, messing with his mind. One part in the illusion scene is when a Zombie Iron Man crawling towards Peter: that scene was a surprise and shocking.

 

There were a few moments in the film, the friendship between Peter and Ned was great: hope we get to see their friendship continue in the next film. The final battle was an amazing scene. 

 

2 scenes that was a surprise and a game-changer: Peter, MJ and the whole people of New York, watches the news report that featured a doctored footage recorded by Beck, during the battle of London. but that’s not all: the video was released by the controversial news website: The Daily Bugle.Net, the one and only…J. Jonah Jameson played by J.K. Simmons. Here’s the real blockbuster: Beck reveals Spider-Man’s secret identity, it had Peter in a mind blown shock.

 

This is the first time seeing J.K. Simmons’ J. Jonah Jameson in the MCU, hope we get to see more J. Jonah Jameson.

 

Another scene is that former S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury and former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill are revealed to be Skrull’ Talos and Skrull’ Soren, who has been impersonating the real Nick Fury and real Maria Hill, also it was revealed that the real Nick Fury is on ‘vacation’ on a Skrull spaceship.

 

After watching the movie. There’s a lot of questions to be answered is what will happen to Peter, now that the world knows he’s Spider-Man and whatever happened to the real Maria Hill, while the real Nick Fury is on a Skrull spaceship.

 

Could this mean that one of the characters are secretly a Skrull, but will find out in the upcoming Marvel films in the future.

Spiderman Homecoming Movie Review

Released in 2017 Spiderman makes a come back in Spiderman Homecoming starring the new Spidey boy Tom Holland. I enjoyed the witty banter between Tony and Peter, it showed they have a father and son type relationship. The villain played masterfully by Michael Keaton was quite the road block for Peter and finding out he was the father of the girl Peter liked made it all the more terrifying. Tom Holland who played the titular Spiderman did a great job of being both Peter Parker the high school tech wiz and spidey the throwing one liners crime fighter. I also enjoyed the new Mj she was funny in every scene she was in and I want to see her more in the next Spiderman films. Can’t wait to see Spiderman Far from home looking forward to seeing the characters again and the new villian played by Jake Gyllenhaal.
